Despite having no qualms about teaching/presenting in person, having to watch myself over and over on video is not something I enjoy at all, so I kept my time on camera brief. Luckily, in my current position, nothing I do is recorded for posterity so it's more of a one-and-done lesson. I recorded my computer screen first to make sure I liked the flow and that the pieces I wanted to include would fit within the overall timeframe of the video. After that, I ad-libbed my voiceover a few times before I landed with an audio track I liked. I recorded the audio track in Audition and imported it back over to Premiere Pro because the built-in recorder in Premiere Pro was picking up a lot of background noise. The title screen and credits screen were created in Canva and downloaded as PNGs before being imported into the video project.
Like the last project, I am thankful for the little bit of familiarity that I already had with Premiere Pro and other video production apps. In typical style, I did not leave myself with as much time as I probably should have allotted for this project but overall, I am content with the overall result and am more confident in a number of skills I haven't dusted off in more than a decade.
